Tips

1. Excess fertilizer is more harmful to orchids than a slight deficiency.
2. Orchid roots are very efficient in absorbing nutrients, and all fertilizers must be applied in weak solutions.
3. Organic fertilizers are very beneficial since they contain natural trace elements e.g. fish emulsion and Trigrow. They can be used together with inorganic ones.
4. Fertilizing dry plants directly can cause root damage. Always pre-water plants before applying fertilizers.
